Patient Testimonials
We were in your office yesterday, and it was a pleasure meeting both of you. Since Larry got "his new ears" it has been a pleasure living with "my new husband" . . .with the new medications taking hold, and now the hearing aids, I am so happy. I won't have to hear "I can't hear you" anymore.
Bette - Hearing Aids
I'm writing to thank you for encouraging me to start with hearing aids. We had talked about it a year ago and I had trouble with my insurance company and I let it drop. After having a hearing test again, you told me that hearing aids would help me. At first it was confusing because another practitioner in your practice told me that my hearing loss wasn't severe enough to start with hearing aids. After thinking about it and talking with you again I decided to go ahead and get them. I am so grateful that I did. I feel that a whole new world has opened up to me. Everyday things that we take for granted that help to make life easier are now back in my world. Simple things like: hearing the microwave beep when food is ready, hearing the phone ring when you're in another room with the door closed, knowing that someone is walking behind you because you hear .the squeak of their shoes. These are all things that have been gone in my world for some time. I also now feel safer because I hear my surroundings. The day I met with you to get the aids, I was wondering again if I really need them. I am so glad that I took the step. I can have conversations with people without constantly asking them to repeat themselves. People no longer question if I'm paying attention to them. Talking on the phone is no longer a strain for me and I now enjoy talking with friends. I have been astonished to discover how much I wasn't hearing. My neighbors appreciate it as well. I had no idea that I had my T. V. so loud! Before the hearing aids the volume was in the range of 22-24. 1 now keep it at 9-10. I don't know how I can express my appreciation enough to thank you for making my world better, easier and safer. . . . I will always be grateful for your help and want to say thank you.
Judy S. - Hearing Aids
I had been wearing conventional hearing aids for many years, the type that use batteries and have to be removed from your ears regularly. Earlier this year I saw an ad in the Los Angeles Times for a new hearing aid from a company called LYRIC. The ad suggested that I could see an audiologist at Pacific Hearing and Balance for testing to see if I might be eligible to wear the LYRIC. My initial meeting was with you, and you suggested I try this new hearing aid that you can keep in your ear all the time - sleeping, showering, even swimming! I accepted your suggestion and could not be more pleased with the LYRIC! It has improved my hearing tremendously and is a pleasure to wear. It's great not having to insert the old style hearing aid, and not having to change batteries all the time! I almost forget I'm wearing a hearing aid. . . . .Thank you for all your help!

Friends, family and colleagues often told me I appeared tired or "you need some rest." . . .Thank you for not only giving me the assurance and confidence to have the [eyelid] surgery but for giving me a youthful, rested appearance.

Thank you for your professional service in performing my plastic surgery consultation. I must commend your staff for the caring, helpful assistance . . . .your staff tolerated by constant calls, always with a pleasant, caring attitude . . . and also calling me back at every step of the process and keeping me informed.

I just want to take a moment to thank you in writing for all that you've done for me thus far. The surgery and recovery have been speedy and rather painless, and you've been very thorough in your explanation of my condition and the steps that have been taken to correct it. . . . In addition, I find it admirable and heartwarming to hear of all the work you're doing for organizations such as the Venice Family Clinic. It's wonderful when someone with a gift such as yourself gives back to his community.

N.B. after Biopsy
I believe I forgot to say thank you for the wonderful job you have done with my sinuses. It is through wonderful dedication of caring doctors like you that seniors and others of lower monetary status that our physical needs are taken care of properly. Just wanted you to know that your efforts do not go unappreciated.
T.G. following Sinus Surgery
[E]very detail of this operation was choreographed to perfection. When I asked a question. . . it was not only answered directly, but executed in exactly the same manner. All nurses and caregivers were friendly, caring, and responsive during preparation. . . . Post-operative requirements were carefully explained, questions were answered and as I left, I suddenly realized that I had spent the morning at the equivalent of a Michelin 4 Star Hotel, not only a fine hospital, but an institution, where one is treated as an honored guest.
Thank you Dr. Krauss and the same grateful "thank you" to your extraordinary staff.
